…well I think my disco (wherever that might be) can manage without me.
For my little sister’s birthday celebration we indulged ourselves in a little karaoke in Central London.
It was so much fun!
I actually learned the words to a number of songs that I have been incorrectly singing all these years.
Being children of the 80s we rolled down memory lane with some old classics
“We build this city” by Starship being one of the songs.
I now know the “Marconi plays the mamba” is not “Always blota momba”
“Respect” – Erasure
“Always on my mind” – Pet Shop Boys
“Summer of ’69” – Bryan Adams
And also some recent hits by Adele and the Spice Girls – fun songs to sing along to on a summer evening and a remember of previous childhood summers!
