Everybody loves a wedding

This weekend I went to an Hindu wedding with my mother. It was interesting for me, especially while I dream of getting married one day.

I liked the words that the daughter was the parents greatest gift that they could pass onto the husband and his family. I liked the fact that she was to be the Goddess of the household and treated as such. I liked the idea of life long companionship through thick and thin. It brought a tear to my eye, a lump in my throat and joy in my heart.

I left feeling hopeful and uplifted.
