Paris au printemps

As well as enjoying the fact that my little sister will soon be Mrs (I still have to write he sister of the bride speech!!) I also enjoyed just being in Paris in the Spring. It was a breath of fresh air.

I wish I had more time to appreciate the architecture and learn about the history behind it all. I find when wandering around these European cities things are either very reminiscent of each other (building or bridges) or you come into a district of an artist that has really walked off the beaten track and provides something stunning and visually amazing. Perhaps next time.

The Pont Alexandre III is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine in Paris. It connects the Champs-Élysées quarter with those of the Invalides and Eiffel Tower. The bridge is widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in the city. It is classified as a French Monument historique. Wikipedia
