Brave and Generous

The Spanish flag was adopted on December 19, 1981. It consists of three horizontal bands of red (top), yellow (center double width), and red (bottom). The colors on the Spanish flag represent the following: yellow – a symbol of generosity and red – hardiness, bravery, strength & valour.

I have learnt today that the study of flags is called vexillology.

Yesterday evening I decided to make a cake for my work colleagues and I thought that I might use the fruit topping to represent the Spanish flag. So the red – raspberries and the yellow – peaches.

Not sure what I should tackle next…The Saltire?

Roll on Thursday.
