Weekly Photo Challenge – 7th October 2016
For this week’s challenge, share a photo that features H2O; the element of water.
It has been a long time since I have had the time and energy to blog but it is almost five months since the wedding and now I find I have a little more free time on my hands. I thought I might start with completing some wordpress activities. This week’s photo challenge asks us to share a picture featuring water. Normally I would share a picture of the sea, all of my favourite people live by the sea and my most favourite place is to be by the sea. However, today on this grey Saturday morning in North East London, I am wandering about my flat looking for inspiration. There are some rain drops on the window but somehow I cannot get my 50mm lens to take the picture that I want, and I am somehow too impatient to keep trying as they are of the static kind and are not quite big fat and juicy enough to make my efforts worthwhile. Turning the taps on and looking at the running water, does not seem to have inspired me either. I live next to the River Roding but it is too cold and wet for me to go exploring. So I opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water. It is not the most inspiring of things but it entertained me for a few minutes. This bottle (when filled with water) is a refreshing addition to every meal and there is an unspoken rule that we will both ensure it is full at all times. I will now of course dutifully fill it up before returning it to the cold cupboard.
The remainder of this day lies before me with a list of errands to complete. Next stop, pit stop…
